Drawing Fundamentals
I have officially enrolled in Drawing Fundamentals at AUArts!
Throughout my engineering career I have drawn many system and software designs, and engineering drawings before that. But I haven’t drawn anything recreationally since … maybe junior high school?
My instructor will be Maedeh Mosaverzadeh. Maedeh is an illustrator and animator, and some of her work is on Instagram @mayimosaver.
I didn’t know where to find the AUArts book store, so I asked Friday to help. The perks of being a parent of an AUArts student!

Friday was instrumental in me getting the supplies I needed. I had choices to make, brushes, charcoal, that kind of thing.
“What kind of brush would you like?”
“Uh … Friday, what kind of brush would I like?”
“And what kind of charcoal would you like?”
“Hey, Friday. What kind of charcoal would I like?”
I am excited, and a little nervous too.
